Following storm Daniel, floods in eastern Libya is reported to have killed more then 5000 people. around 10000 missing
heavy rains that caused two dams to collapse near the coastal city of Derna.
Due to the storm, two dams of Darna city surrounded by mountains have broken. Due to the breach of the dam, about 330 lakh cubic meters of water entered the city, which caused this devastation.
Numerous cities, Al-Bayda, Al-Marj, Tobruk, Takenis, Al-Bayada, and Battah, as well as the eastern shore up to Benghazi, have been devastated by flooding.
